The Scott Keever Scholarship is a $1,000 annual award created by entrepreneur and digital marketing expert Scott Keever. It supports undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in digital marketing, business administration, entrepreneurship, and communications.
Any undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled at least half-time at an accredited U.S. college or university is eligible. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be pursuing a degree in digital marketing, business administration, entrepreneurship, communications, or a related field.
The scholarship awards $1,000 to one recipient per year. Funds may be used for tuition, textbooks, or other educational expenses.
Applications must be submitted by December 31 of each year. The scholarship winner will be announced by January 31 of the following year.
Your application must include: your full name, email, and phone number; your school name, current GPA, field of study, and expected graduation date; a 500–800 word essay on one of the designated topics; a brief paragraph about your career goals; and proof of enrollment (unofficial transcript or enrollment verification letter).
Applicants choose one of the following topics: (1) "How digital marketing is shaping the future of small business," (2) "The role of online reputation in building a successful career," or (3) "How AI and technology are transforming entrepreneurship."
Applications are reviewed by a selection committee based on essay quality, academic achievement, career goals, and overall alignment with the scholarship's mission of supporting future digital leaders. Creativity, originality, and clarity of thought are valued highly.
The scholarship recipient will be notified directly by email. The winner will also be announced on the Scott Keever Scholarship website and social media channels by January 31.
Yes. Students who are not selected are welcome to apply again in future scholarship cycles, as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements.
